In a survey conducted among Formula 1 drivers, Verstappen was voted Driver of the Year for the fifth straight season, a recognition that highlights the respect he commands even from his closest competitors. 

Despite missing out on the title, his performances once again set him apart on track. The recognition extended beyond the drivers’ vote. Formula 1 team principals also placed the 28-year-old at the top of their own ranking, emphasizing his consistency, technical ability, and leadership both on and off the circuit. Throughout the season, Verstappen demonstrated a blend of speed, control, and competitive maturity that has defined his dominance in modern Formula 1.

Even in a more tightly contested year, his influence was evident across multiple races. The outcome of both polls underscores that, beyond championship points alone, Verstappen is still viewed as the most complete driver on the grid.
