
Booming chipmaker Nvidia announced the resumption of sales of its H20 graphics processing unit (GPU) chips for AI applications in China. According to a company blog post, Nvidia has applied to the U.S. government to resume sales of the H20 and expects licenses to be granted soon.
They want to begin deliveries shortly after, Nvidia said. The company also announced a new RTX Pro GPU designed specifically for China. Nvidia described the processor as "fully compliant" and suitable for digital twin AI applications in areas such as smart factories and logistics.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang met with U.S. President Donald Trump and lawmakers in Washington, and later with officials in Beijing, to promote AI collaboration and underscore Nvidia's support for open-source research and global AI development, the company said.
